What foundation types are available?

We can install on thermal blocks, a concrete slab, a gravel pad, crawl-space, wooden post foundation, or paving stones. The most appropriate option is assessed on a site-by-site basis and installed as part of the price.

Do you install outside of Mainland UK?

We install across Mainland UK as standard. For island locations and areas outside of Mainland UK, please contact us before ordering and we will provide a tailored delivery and installation price.

Can I add insulation?

Yes — insulation is available as an optional upgrade, with all prices including supply and installation. Floor insulation (25mm) is £1,350, a roof insulation package is £2,835, wall insulation is £4,425, or the full floor, roof, and wall insulation package is £9,060. Please contact us to discuss the best option for your intended use.

Can I upgrade the roof covering?

Yes — an EPDM rubber roof covering upgrade is available for £2,300. EPDM is a fully fitted, seamless, long-lasting membrane that requires minimal maintenance and outperforms standard felt significantly.

What about electrics — lighting, sockets, and consumer units?

Electrical work is priced entirely separately based on your specific requirements. We can discuss and quote for this directly, or you are welcome to arrange your own electrician. Contact us to talk through what you need.

What internal height will I have for my swing?

The ridge height is 364.5cm, delivering excellent clearance for a full swing. Please contact us with details of your simulator setup and we will confirm the clearance available for your specific configuration.

Do I need planning permission?

In many cases a building of this size will fall within Permitted Development rights for residential properties in England and Wales, provided it is used as an ancillary garden building, is sited within the curtilage of a dwelling house, and does not cover more than 50% of the garden area. However, we always recommend confirming with your local planning authority before ordering.

What does the natural untreated finish mean?

The building is supplied in its natural Nordic spruce finish — untreated and ready for you to apply your preferred exterior stain, oil, or treatment. We can also supply and apply an exterior treatment as an optional upgrade.

How long does installation take?
