The Motorised Louvred Roof
The roof is the centrepiece. Each louvre is motorised — open them fully to let the sun pour in, angle them to control light and ventilation, or close them completely to keep the rain out. And when the sun goes down, the integrated LED strips transform the space into something else entirely.
Glass Sliding Doors — Full Width, Full Height
Two full sides of this structure are glazed with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass panels. They stack neatly to one side when open, giving completely unobstructed access to the garden. When closed, the space is fully weathertight and insulated from wind and rain — without losing a single lumen of natural light.
The Interior
Inside, this is a proper room. A wall-mounted TV, LED-lit louvres overhead, and full glazing on two sides. Whether it's a summer evening with the louvres open and the lights on, or a winter afternoon with everything closed and the heating on, this space works 365 days a year.
Attached to the House — Built to Last
The fourth side of this structure is the house itself. The pergola is fixed directly to the building, with a full aluminium wall panel on the third side providing privacy and weather protection. The result is a seamless extension of the home — not a garden building bolted on, but a proper architectural addition.
