14-Day Cooling Off Period Waiver

14-Day Cooling Off Period — Waiver of Right to Cancel

Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your contract with Bespoke Oak and Slate within 14 calendar days of placing your order, without giving any reason. This is known as the “cooling off period”.

During this 14-day period, we are not permitted to begin work on your order unless you explicitly request that we do so and you acknowledge that doing so will affect your cancellation rights.

Request to Begin Work Immediately

We understand that many of our customers would prefer not to wait 14 days before we begin work on their project. If you would like us to commence work — including ordering materials, arranging delivery, scheduling our installation team, or beginning any preparatory works — before the 14-day cooling off period has expired, you may waive this right by completing the declaration below.

Please read the following carefully before proceeding.

What Waiving Your Cooling Off Period Means

By requesting that Bespoke Oak and Slate begin work before the end of the 14-day cooling off period, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • You are expressly requesting that we begin performing the contract immediately, before the 14-day cancellation period has expired.
  • If you subsequently choose to cancel your order after work has commenced, you will be liable to pay for any services, materials, or costs reasonably incurred by Bespoke Oak and Slate up to the point of cancellation.
  • If the services are fully completed before the end of the 14-day period — at your request — you will lose your right to cancel entirely in respect of those completed services.
  • Your statutory rights in relation to the quality of the services provided are not affected by this waiver.

Waiver Declaration

By submitting your waiver request to Bespoke Oak and Slate — whether by email, in writing, or by signing a physical copy of this document — you confirm the following:

“I / We hereby request that Bespoke Oak and Slate begin performing the services under our contract immediately, before the expiry of the 14-day cancellation period. I / We acknowledge that by making this request, I / we will lose my / our right to cancel once the services have been fully performed. I / We understand that if I / we cancel after work has commenced but before it is complete, I / we will be required to pay for any costs and services reasonably incurred up to the point of cancellation.”
